Los Angeles Terrazzo

Los Angeles Terrazzo is dedicated to documenting and celebrating terrazzo found throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding area. Through photography, research and on-site exploration, I highlight the craftsmanship of historic buildings, theaters, storefronts, public spaces,etc, drawing attention to a 10,000 year old (+/-) flooring tradition that is often overlooked in today’s urban landscape. By sharing these discoveries, my goal is to help preserve and promote appreciation for Los Angeles’s architectural heritage and the artistry of terrazzo.
